How to Release Anger & Find Your Passion
Hey there Gorgeous!
If you’re anything like me (and every woman I know) you’ve had a complicated relationship to anger.
There’s a lot here.
Anger is a healthy emotion and can serve us well.
When it’s allowed to flow.
It can help us speak up, show up (for ourselves and others), set boundaries, get clear on our true desires and even have mind blowing orgasms.
However, when anger gets stuck in our system, it festers and blocks our life force.
Blocked anger can numb us out, block the flow of our energy and set the stage for mental and physical illnesses.
Stuck anger gets lodged in the body and can become a major obstacle to intimacy, sensual pleasure and orgasm.
Stored anger puts us in a chronic state of fight, flight and over time even freeze and keeps us from accessing the part of our nervous system where we can rest, digest and heal as well as release and receive deep states of pleasure and ecstasy.
So few of us have had permission to feel and express anger in ways that empower us.
Can anger actually fuel our passion?
Yep! The ancient Taoists have developed some amazing practices for this!
Tools that every Vital Goddess should have in her tool box.
Let’s be honest. There’s a lot in the world to be angry about.
But we can use that anger in ways that support our vitality.
Or, in the words of one of my teachers;
“Rage is passion without a place to play.”
Give today’s practice a try and you’ll see why it’s a go-to maintenance practice for me.
