 Struggling with pelvic floor issues?

Kegel not working for you?

I hear you!

It’s so hard to feel your best when your pelvis is screaming for attention.

And so frustrating when what people keep telling you to do just ain’t working!

What if there was a simple, fun and sassy solution?

There is!

But you have to be bold enough to give it a try.

Hi, I’m Dianne

And over 20 years ago my pelvis was indeed screaming for attention.

For me, it looked like this:

  • incontinence

  • pelvic pain

  • vaginal dryness

  • sciatica

  • pelvic organ prolapse

I was going through menopause and I was a bit of a hot mess.

I was teaching & practicing a lot of Pilates & Yoga at the time which were not addressing the issues.

The Kegel…I found it to be useless.

Doctors where offering solutions that I was just not interested in.

I wanted to heal naturally but I didn’t know how.

This may sound wild but what actually kickstarted my healing of all things pelvis (and so much more) was slow mo sensual movement.

Yes! Moving like a stripper heal my pelvic floor!

Movement is one of the most powerful healing tools we have.

And the pelvis rarely gets to move the way she’s designed to move.

When we give full range of motion to the pelvis & pelvic floor our bodies begin to heal.

Sacred Sensual Movement has many benefits, here are just a few:

  1. Creates new pathways for pleasure. Regular practice of SSM heightens sensual awareness and the ability to experience sensual pleasure. In SSM we move in a gentle, organic way, fluid way. This slowly and steadily releases habitual patterns of rigidity and contraction and creates new pathways for flow and pleasure. In SSM we work on building safety and resiliency in the nervous system through movement; making way for a deeper experience with pleasure.

  2. Healing for the pelvic floor. In SSM we move in a way that gives full range of motion to the muscles and fascia of the pelvic floor in a fluid way. This increases blood flow to the pelvic floor and pelvic organs, promoting healing for this all important area.

  3. Develops core awareness and tone from the inside out. In the female body, the vagina is the master key for deep core strength and function. In SSM we focus on initiating movement from the vagina, bringing sensate awareness, mind/body connection and tone to the female deep core.

  4. Awakens sexual energy. In SSM we deliberately connect with the female erotic arousal network of the pelvis, The intention is to harness the healing power of sexual energy in a sustainable and embodied way, enhancing vitality,  creativity. joy and nourishing the libido.

  5. Calms the nervous system. The fluid, continuous nature of SSM helps to down-regulate the nervous system, bringing a sense of peaceful grounded embodiment.

  6. Nourishes the libido. In SSM we move in a way that stimulates the kidneys, which from the Taoist perspective are the battery packs for our sexual energy. Due to the stresses of modern living, most women’s kidney energy or chi is depleted, resulting in fatigue and low libido. Through movement and awareness, we can nourish the kidneys and libido.

  7. Emotional Healing. In SSM we put emotion in motion. We allow emotions to arise and be felt and moved through the system. Rather than a cathartic approach, this allows emotions to be processed and integrated in a gentle yet effective way.

  8. Integrates trauma patterns. One of the ways the body stores trauma is by going into freeze. This can be experienced as numbness and inability to experience pleasure, receive pleasure and/or integrate pleasure. SSM gently thaws out freeze patterns in the body, allowing trauma to be integrated and resolved.

  9. Increases succulence. In SSM we move in a way that activates the fascia. This kind of fluid movement creates succulence in the body. Overtime this can help reverse overall dryness and stiffness in the Yoni and the body. In SSM we move in a way that activates the fascia.

  10. Increases joy, creativity and spontaneity, and resilience. The movements we explore in SSM are spontaneous and responsive to the present moment. Moving in this way enlivens our curiosity and playfulness and ability to more fully engage with our environment.

  11. Awakens your Yin Power. Humans are fluid beings and as such we have the ability to continually transform and rejuvenate. In SSM we embrace the idea that all fluids in the body function as one and when we allow the fluids of the body to flow, healing happens on a profound level. Fluid movement is essential for optimal health and renewal.

"Diane is an amazing and experienced space holder. The SSM class was a perfect time for me to tune into my body in a deep and sensual way. I felt well guided and invited to embrace my authentic expression all the time, which was exactly what my body was craving for.
After the class I felt more relaxed, nourished and in tune to my inner needs.
Diane's guidance was super clear, profound and loving. She clearly knows A LOT about the pelvic floor - which is really a gift!"

“I love how slow and sensual this process is. It truly is like connecting to the element of water and learning to trust my own flow. So many movement practices can be very action-oriented & "outside-in." This practice encouraged an inside-out approach that let me trust the wisdom of my own body.

Dianne created a beautiful space for me to slow down and drop into my body. I've been feeling so much tension recently, especially in my hips. To be led through a practice that let me intuitively connect with my pelvic floor felt so freeing and life-giving. I loved the little tidbits about anatomy that Dianne would sprinkle in throughout the class that helped me contextualize why we were doing the movements we were doing.

She is so knowledgeable! It felt like my body had full permission to honor its yeses and nos and unwind at its own pace. This truly was such a deep and nurturing yin experience. I highly recommend it to others looking to slow down and more sensually connect with their body in a loving way.”
