Some Thoughts on Venus Retrograde 7/22-9/3

Venus in Leo went into retrograde on July 22.

I feel this is a golden opportunity to up-level our relationship with the Goddess of Love.

Whenever a planet goes retrograde the energy of that planet gets amplified and it also gets wonky. As in things don’t flow the way they normally do.

I’m sure you’ve seen that with Mercury retrogrades; everything associated with communication goes into a tail spin. Exactly.

While often uncomfortable at first, ultimately retrogrades serve us in asking us to pay more attention to the energy at hand. It’s an invitation to revise our contract and deepen our relationship with that particular planetary energy.

During this retrograde all things sacred to Venus: beauty, abundance, passion & desire, sensual and sexual ecstasy and romantic love are up for revision.

With Leo being the sign Venus is dancing in as She spins in reverse, we’re being asked to do a cosmic self audit on self love, self worth, pleasure, play and creativity. Leo is the regal fire sign of radical and radiant self love.

Venus in Leo wants us to shine. Brightly.

We’re being asked to do the work to review and release anything blocking us from living and loving large.

We can use this time to revive our personal relationship with Venus.

And it’s truly an inside job.
