TRE/ Trauma Release Exercises
TRE® is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance.

before you begin…
These exercises should be done only if they are pleasurable and you feel safe and grounded in the process. If you begin to experience physical pain adjust your position and/or modify the speed or intensity in a way that relieves the pain. If no adjustment and/or modification can be found, stop the process, sit up and get a glass of water.
If you are feeling emotionally overwhelmed and/or uncomfortable, slow down or stop the TRE process until you feel safe and grounded again. Once again sit up and get a glass of water.

Pregnancy
Epilepsy
Detached Retina
Glaucoma
Uncontrolled high blood pressure
Heart Conditions (not approved by physician)
Diagnosis by a medical professional of manic disorder, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia
Strokes, seizures or other brain/neurological condition or disease
Recent Surgery, Injury or Stitches
Diagnosis of aneurysmUncontrolled thyroid conditions
Severe PTSD or trauma ( seek council from a therapist first)
Actively using recreational drugs
