Emotional Alchemy: The Jade Egg Practice and the Taoist Healing Sounds

This episode is a bit of a part two for my previous one on Becoming Multi-Orgasmic at Midlife.
Here I dive into the power of emotions and their relationship to our libido, vitality and becoming Multi-Orgasmic.

The Western perspective on strong "negative" emotions  like anger, rage, or grief is that they are something to manage and or get rid of.

The Taoist perspective on emotions is energetic and it's about empowerment. Emotions are energy and energy can transform into fuel. The Jade Egg Practice offers effective tools to alchemize strong emotions into useable energy so that instead blocking our orgasmic life force, they become part of it.

One of the simplest and most powerful ways to do this is to use the Taoist Healing Sounds. Using specific vibrational tones for specific emotional states, liberates stagnant energy and restores vibrancy and balance.

In this episode I riff on:

  • midlife transition and emotions

  • working with fear, anger, rage and grief

  • the 3 orgasmic zones that where these emotions tend to be stored

  • the specific healing sound for each zone to liberate the energy and turn it into gold
